Maths Week

To mark Maths Week, IT trainee Allison calculated the deductions applied to training allowances payable to both those over & under 18 years if training time is missed. Following this she designed & created a leaflet using for trainees, especially those new to the centre, to help them be aware of how much money they will be receiving each week. A copy of the leaflet is displayed in all core training areas of the centre.

Plogging

Plogging is a new idea that originated from Sweden in 2016. It is the activity of picking up litter while jogging. As part of An Gaisce some sports trainees took part in the activity in the local area. It's a great way to keep fit and help the environment at the same time.
