Sligo CTC has provided training to young, unemployed people and early school leavers aged between 16 and 21 years since 1984. In 2008 the centre moved location from Rockwood Parade to a new custom built facility in Cleveragh.
Sligo
CTC is a health promoting centre. Sligo CTC was awarded The Health Quality Mark
Gold Standard (2014 - 2017) presented by the National Youth Programme in
collaboration with the National Youth Council of Ireland. It was also awarded the Active@Work bronze Award and the Happy Heart Healthy Eating Award in 2014 from the Irish Heart Foundation.
Our Mission Statement
To
provide young people with the necessary skills and knowledge to recognize and
develop their own individual talents; in a supportive, challenging, health
promoting environment, that encourages lifelong learning; through flexible
training and education while preserving uniqueness and enhancing the confidence
of the individual.
