Today Alex, computer trainee was working on drawing a bee mural in our outdoor area under the guidance of Catherine, Art Tutor. It looks fantastic, well done Alex 🍯

Outdoor Space - Painting
Today Aideen and the trainees were busy improving our outdoor space on this lovely day. Hewad and Khalid were painting the picnic benches, Mark and Corey were painting the wall in preparation for our mural and Alex was doing some nice creative nature drawings on the wall. Well done and thanks to all the trainees, it looks great!

Mural - Step 1 Preparation and Painting
Today the trainees started painting a wall in our outdoor garden. This is in preparation for a mural wall project that Catherine and the trainees are working on for the summer. It definitely brightens up our outdoor space!

Mental Health Ireland Art and Photography Competition
The Mental Health Ireland Art & Photography Competition is open for entries!
Deadline for entries is November 12th.
This year's theme is ‘Reflecting on How I’ve
Grown’ – in the face of the uncertainties and challenges of the year.
This might be the learning of a new skill, the
ways in which you gave back to others and your community, the drawing on
courage and strength you never knew you had, how you may have matured and coped
with new stresses.
Winners get a One4All gift card, feature in the
Mental Health Ireland calendar and have their pieces feature in a public
exhibition!
