On Friday we said farewell to three of our computer trainees Joey, Ahmad and Karam as they progress onto further training.  Dylan is also starting out on a work placement. Congratulations on all your achievements and success during your time at Sligo CTC.  Good luck and best wishes in the future!

It is great to see our art and design classes up and running again in the centre for the trainees with Catherine, Art Tutor.  Trainees are working on their Level 3 Art and Design and Level 4 Textiles modules. 🎨

 

Covid-19 - Face Coverings

Trainees and Staff are making a great effort wearing face coverings at Sligo CTC.  Watch this video to find out how to correctly wear, remove and dispose of face coverings to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19.

Gardening with Aideen

It was a lovely Autumn morning today in Sligo so Aideen and Dylan were out in our garden digging up some of our harvest of organic potatoes and garlic. Delicious and well worth the wait 😋

Our aim is to provide immediate support in the short term and connect people to resources that will help them in the future. The service is funded by the Health Service Executive (HSE).

Great to see our hairdressing trainees back in the centre practicing their blow drying skills today 😀

Sligo CTC Training

We are getting a great response from our trainees with wearing face coverings, good hand hygiene and keeping a safe distance in the centre for the new normal this week.  It is fantastic to have them back working away in the sports, catering, hairdressing and computer departments!  Pictured above is Reece, computer trainee.
