Mental Health Awareness Week - Samba Drumming
Today trainees got the opportunity to try out samba drumming as part of mental health awareness week. Thanks to our instructor Stephanie. This was a very enjoyable stress-free drumming session.

Road Safety Awareness Event
The Youth Action Project Sligo/Leitrim Road Safety Event is taking place again this year, which our trainees will be attending.
The event will show how important it is to wear a seat belt is by using their Roll-over simulator, along with what it’s like to drive on the road using their state-of-the-art car and motorbike simulators.
This event is delivered in conjunction with North Connaught Youth Services, An Garda Síochána, Sligo County Council and the Road Safety Authority.
The RSA Interactive Shuttle and Roll-Over Simulator will be in Sligo on the 14th, 15th and 16th of October in the Stephen Street Car Park, Sligo from 9.30am to 4pm.
If you’re a trainee at Sligo CTC, be sure to talk to your keyworker for more information and to visit the event on Wednesday the 16th October between 2pm and 2.45pm.
