An Gaisce Adventure Journey Begins

Members of the An Gaisce group began their adventure journey this morning.

Football Tournament

We enjoyed a fantastic sporting football tournament on Monday involving trainees from all the departments in the centre together with many of the trainees from Leitrim CTC who travelled for the event.

Well done to the winner team on the day Cormac, Tyreike, Oskar, Owen, John, Troy, Katelyn & Alice

Other prize winners on the day included Sean Flanagan, Brittney Sweeney, Diego Colburn and Andrew Kelly.

We would like to thank every player would look part and also a special word of thanks to Danny and Steve for organising the event.

Hike

Some trainees took part in an enjoyable hike of Knocknarea today. Well done to all who participated!

Carrowkeel Hike - Thursday 28th March 2019

Following the hike of Carrowkeel which many of our trainees completed, Aideen received a lovely card from John Paul Ryan (our walk guide) with some fantastic feedback as follows:

“Personally it was a most enjoyable day out. The crew from the CTC were vibrant, engaging and good fun. After three plus hours on the hills, I was sorry to part company with them when it was all over. I only hope that they enjoyed it as much as I, and that maybe on any given Sunday they might have the urge to pull on the boots, grab a bag and head for the hills once again”
