Girls & Lads Active

Girls and Lads Active is a voluntary fun programme organised by Emer, Janell and Aideen.  It is aimed at helping the trainees find a physical activity that they enjoy and will keep up in their own time.  The range of activities are chosen by the trainees including walking, soccer, basketball, football, yoga, pilates and gymnastics.  This takes place every Wednesday between 2pm - 3pm. This programme is available for the computer, hairdressing, catering and exploring options group.  Today the girls are doing Zumba with Barbara and the lads are playing soccer or they can go to the gym in the sports complex.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the trainees to get out of the centre and keep fit and healthy!
