Pieta House Fundraising Walk

On Friday Sligo CTC as part of Mental Health Awareness week took part in a fundraising walk, followed by a healthy breakfast and a fun quiz.  Thanks to all the staff and trainees for donating €2 each.  All proceeds went to Pieta House.

To mark the final day of Mental Health Week on Friday Sligo CTC Trainees and Staff had a healthy breakfast and took part in a fundraising walk. All money raised will be donated to Pieta House.  Well done to all who took part and donated!

Darkness into Light - Sligo

It is Sligo Town's fourth year staging the hugely symbolic event that is Darkness Into Light - you can walk or run the 5km route but the best part of the morning is meeting up with everyone at the end where refreshments will be provided.  Denyse, Kate and the catering trainees are kindly baking for this very worthy event.  Best of luck to Marian, Ian the trainees that are taking part!

Baking for Pieta House

The trainees in the catering department were recently involved in baking for the Darkness Into Light Fundraising event. A charity event in aid of Pieta House, the centre for the prevention of suicide and self harm. The event took place in Sligo on the 9th of May and Marian took part in the walk.
